For tenants
Your rental history, working for you
Klera is designed to recognise good renting. It is a record of how a tenancy went — not a judgement about you — and you can see, question and control how it is used.

Get credit for paying on time
Years of reliable payments usually vanish when a tenancy ends. Klera turns that history into evidence you can carry to your next application.
See everything about you
Your record is visible to you in full, free of charge — including who contributed each entry and when it was last updated.
Challenge anything inaccurate
If an entry is wrong, raise a dispute. It is flagged as disputed while reviewed, and corrected or removed if it does not hold up.
Your record is shared for a specific letting decision, for a limited period, with your permission — and you can see who accessed it.

Conduct records are factual and kept separate from payment history. Tenants are notified of every entry and can dispute it; disputed entries are shown as “Disputed — under review” and never presented as confirmed.
Your view
Exactly what a landlord would see
There is no separate hidden version of your record. The summary shared for a letting decision is the same one you can review yourself. Sample data shown.
- A full month-by-month payment timeline
- Clear labels for on-time, late and missed payments
- Any disputed entry marked while it is being reviewed
- An access log showing who has viewed your record
Your rights
Fair by commitment, not just by policy
Klera is being built around UK data protection principles. These commitments are core to the product, not optional extras.
No blacklisting
Klera will never operate an exclusion list, and it does not tell a landlord whether to accept or refuse an applicant.
Right to access and correct
You can request everything held about you and ask for inaccurate information to be corrected without charge.
Proportionate retention
Records will be kept only for a defined, published period relevant to letting decisions — not indefinitely.
